Mount Sinai's Global Women's Health team is committed to establishing sustainable women's health programs in economically-disadvantaged areas. The team travels to various places around the world to improve accessibility and availability of services, reduce maternal morbidity and mortality, and educate and train providers. Recently the Global Women's Health team went to the Dominican Republic to help women in need of UROGYN surgeries and to educate local healthcare providers. Kim Abruzese, RDMS of Mount Sinai Hospital shares her photos of the journey.
