Founded in 1987, Project C.U.R.E. distributes high-quality medical supplies and provides medical care to resource-limited communities worldwide via its medical professional volunteers.
Project C.U.R.E. was able to provide care for over 1500 patients in four days, including health screenings, medication and vitamin distribution, and referrals of patients to a local hospital if further evaluation was necessary.
The Project C.U.R.E team will never forget the passion and commitment the District Health Minister has for his people and his emphasis on the importance of health for the community.
In the beginning, the local medical professionals had no idea that the Project C.U.R.E team was made up of volunteers that had paid their own way to come to Ghana to work. This realization greatly touched them, and further enhanced an already meaningful experience for the entire community.
