A. I was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the US at 5 years old.
FIGS: Why did you choose your specific vocation?
A. It’s a privilege being a part of a patient's family's life in their most vulnerable time. No amount of money or show could accurately quantify or depict the feeling.
FIGS: What is one thing you love about your specific field that you wouldn’t experience elsewhere?
A. Witnessing the outrageous foreign bodies that appear on an X-ray film, and better yet, hearing the stories/denials of how they got there.
