Step 3: Upgrade to the good stuff. Once your old scrubs clock out for good, we’ll send you $50 OFF your next FIGS order of $100+. Consider it a thank-you for doing better.

Eligible participants who mail in old scrubs will receive a code (“Code”) to receive $50 off of their next FIGS purchase of over $100. Codes must be used within six (6) months of the issue date to avoid expiration. Code value is reflected in USD; for customers outside the U.S., the values will be converted to your local currency at the applicable exchange rate as of the date of redemption. Old scrubs being recycled must be laundered prior to shipment and must be shipped via UPS or USPS using the shipping label provided by SuperCircle. SuperCircle lets you turn your old, ugly, sucky scrubs into credits for 100% Awesome FIGS. Just kick off the recycling process through the SuperCircle online portal, choose the items you want to recycle, download and print your shipping label, and ship your scrubs within 30 days. SuperCircle will then sort old scrubs by material and other key recycling factors for their next life. Your scrubs will be upcycled into new fabrics like recycled denim or tees, or downcycled into other useful items like insulation and padding for sports equipment. The result? Fewer scrubs in landfills and more awesome in your closet.

You bet! If you’re recycling more than on set, we encourage you to send them together since shipping has a carbon footprint. You can send a maximum of 20 scrubs or 10 sets per recycling package. Please note, you can only have one active recycling shipment at a time — once your shipment is processed, you can start a new recycling round.

Rips, tears, stains — we’ll take it all! You can ship scrubs from any other brand in any condition. Just make sure your scrubs are clean and washed before sending them over.

Right now, we are only taking scrubs (any other brand works!) for recycling. This will help us make sure your items get the best recycling treatment.

Once your shipment has been scanned, keep an eye (or both!) on your inbox for an email with your code for $50 OFF. If you've just dropped off your recycling shipment, give us a day or two to confirm.

Head to the center of the homepage and you’ll see a login portal to connect your account. You’ll need to login to start a recycling shipment, track your progress, and get your code! Already have a FIGS account? You’ll still need to create a SuperCircle to join the Scrubs That Don’t Suck program. Depending on what your old scrubs are made of, some will be recycled fiber-to-fiber and become new garments.

Scrubs that cannot be fiber-to-fiber recycled will get a second life in upcycling or downcycling projects like furniture batting, insulation, rubber mats, and resurfacing material for new construction projects.
