More than a uniform.
At FIGS, we know that it’s more than a uniform. Your uniform tells the world who you are and what you do. It is a symbol of safety, identity and unity. That’s why every set of FIGS is made with Technical Comfort™— the conviction that design, comfort and function are non-negotiable – on and off shift.
Our proprietary fabric technology is made from what we believe to be the best combination of materials and is core-spun for maximum durability to withstand the demands of a healthcare professional’s work without sacrificing comfort.
Why wear scrubs when you can wear FIGS?
FIGS believes that what you wear affects how you feel and ultimately, how you perform. Every design at FIGS solves real problems that you face every day – no matter what your day throws at you. If FIGS can elevate your performance – even in small or unexpected ways – imagine the profound impact it can have.
The highest standards didn’t exist, so we created them.
The ah-ha moment happened when Co-CEO and Co-Founder, Heather Hasson was grabbing coffee with a friend and nurse practitioner almost a decade ago. She couldn’t believe that her friend, who spent 16-hour days serving others wearing boxy, scratchy, uncomfortable scrubs— and worse still — she didn’t have any options available to improve her situation. Heather could not help but think about how many apparel companies were focused on giving professional athletes every possible advantage through cutting-edge materials and purpose-driven designs. So she thought: What about the people saving lives? Who is focused on them? With a background in fashion, Heather set her sights on revolutionizing the industry by creating technically advanced apparel and products for the modern healthcare professional. At the same time, it was clear that both the design and distribution of scrubs were antiquated and ripe for disruption, and that healthcare professionals deserved innovative, functional products and an efficient distribution model built around their particular needs. She quickly partnered with Co-CEO and Co-Founder Trina Spear to not merely improve scrubs, but to completely transform the healthcare experience and empower and celebrate the people doing this important work.
